We're not getting such good reception here in the Scottish Isles, so the blog is getting slightly delayed at times. We've just arrived in Tarbert and will stay for two nights. We may even book into a bed and breakfast to thaw out properly. It's been all Scotch Mist and motoring out there for the last two days. You can't see much and can't sail because the wind has disappeared almost completely. Tarbert is looking very good though, so we're glad we came.

  1. Hi my wee pals, hope you thaw out in the next few days as the weather is going to get a bit better for you. I have to say I think L & P are very brave following you upto Scottyland -I hope they took their thermals, maybe they haven't realised that wherever you go, the wind & rain is sure to follow! We going to that there Londinium tomorrow for the weekend including the Chelsea Flower Show preview evening on Monday-I'm looking forward to it so I must have reached middle age!! Say hi to all, sink a few drams for us. LuvJub.xx

  2. Hi wee anonymous Linda, we're meeting those Virleys today for lunch at a great seafood restaurant, and fully intend to sink as many wee drams as possible. How civilised, going to the Chelsea flower show. The weather must be better down South, but all the locals are complaining of the unusual cold weather here. It's snowing as far down as three hundred metres. We were thinking of going up Ben Nevis, but have definitely lost interest and want to stay at sea level. Enjoy London and the flower show. Xx
